We always like to welcome all our new members not only because they worked hard to get here, but they become part of the -=U.N.C.L.E=- Clan family.
Everyone welcome -=u.n.c.l.e=- ReApEr to our clan. Reaper if this is the incorrect way you have your name please let me know and I will change it asap. I think your actual steam login user name is different than your actual in game name, so i wasn't for sure what it was. Sorry for that!
Wanted to let everyone know that we soon will have a site setup just for map downloads. It will be divided up into what certain map it is. Such as, de, cs, fy, etc.
It will have its own url just for this. More than likely http://maps.uncle-clan.com
Once you go to that site each type of map will be in sections per links.
Say you want a de map. There will be a link named de_maps. When you click that link it will list all the de_maps we have on server. You can simply click the map you want to download and save to your hard drive. All you will have to do is copy and paste it once on hard drive to your C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/yourusername/counter-strike/cstrike/maps folder. For those without x64 bit versions of windows the (x86) part will be just be Program Files instead of Program Files (x86) folder.
I think this will be a great feature for all -=U.N.C.L.E=- members since some maps are huge and take a long time to dl in game. Although i do think the fast download option on server is working now some people do still have problems on huge maps and this will help. If anything it will show you a lists of all maps on server. So either way it helps.
Just one more thing. I have not forgotten about the -=U.N.C.L.E=- emails. If anyone wants a you@uncle-clan.info, .com email please feel free to email me what you want your user name you want. I will make a default password then you can go in and change the password to whatever you want it to be. Then if you wanted it forwarded to your current email this is possible. I personally think it will make the clan look more organized if we all use you@uncle-clan.com emails, but that is my own personal opinion others might not think so.
Soon everyone here will have a you@uncle-clan.com email address. You will be able to check it via web mail or pop3. What I like to do so that i don't have to check 500 emails addresses is forward it. We can also forward you@uncle-clan.com to your existing email address. This way if the clan decides this is a good idea we won't have to dig for email addresses to send out tryout invites and such. We will have your nick @yourdomain.com to send too. This will help admins and make clan look even more l33t than we already are. :)
